To create a dress it’s always a fascinating
creative moment for me not only because it
requires a careful study of the particular
historic and cultural period it belongs to but
also for many other different and deeply aspects
revealed by a costume. Each dress has its own
origin that goes beyond the outward appearance.
The process of realizing a costume, and
consequently a scenography, turns to become a life
in a delicate equilibrium between reality and
dream, a seesaw of emotions and restlessness of
the mind; the dress becomes a journey at the limit
of the being and of the past.
I’m happy to collaborate with the Foundation, the
union of costume and figurative arts turns to me
like a great fascination motive. I would like to
transmit my love for the costume as witness of our
history and our people lives. |
